The standard letters used on the arena are: A, K, E, H, C, M, B, F, and in larger arenas there are also the letters S, V, R, P. It is worth adding that the arena is always entered through the letter A.

Knowing the arrangement of the letters and planning the ride in accordance with them are the basic skills of every dressage rider.
